to the Understanding Diners
I would like
to take this opportunity to thank all
the people who attended the Flying Pig
dinner for their understanding and
patience's with the serving time of the
dinner. I have been doing dinners at A
events for a number of years now and
every time I do one I have to plan for
the unexpected but this time there was
not a thing I could do to change the
unexpected. Myself and the small
kitchen crew worked really hard to get
the dinner done on time but it was not
to happen this time. To my amazement
or maybe I shouldn't be amazed, I did
not receive one compliant about the
tardiness of the dinner. Just the
opposite, I received a number of thank
you's and compliments on the quality of
the dinner.
I would also
like to thank everyone who answered
my call for help to clean up. We were
cleaned up and out of there is record
time, 45 minutes. I wish I could get
the juniors to move that fast to clean
up. Thank you so much I truly
appreciate it.
Lastly, I
would like to especially thank Joyce and
Leslie Lytle for their help in getting
the hall for OCIN to have the dinner and
for all of the help they gave me. I
couldn't have done it without you, since
I live in PA and the dinner was in OH.
