The Pig Sprint, Friday, March 28
    A short-course format event with late afternoon starts. 1:10,000 map
    Woodland Trails BSA Camp, Camden, OH
    Camp is located on Gasper-Somers Rd on the west side of US 127,
        2 miles north of the village of Camden, OH.  (14 mi. S of I-70 exit 10).

The Classic, Saturday, March 29
    Classic distance races including the Midwest Classic Championship.
    1:10,000 map for white through green, 1:15,000 for red and blue.
    Hueston Woods SP, Oxford, OH
    Park entrance from US 27, 3 miles north of Oxford, OH.
    Tentative finish/parking at Cedar Falls area, allow time for bus to start.

The Short Pig, Sunday, March 30
    Short Course Race including the Midwest Short Course Championship.
    High feature density in a semi-urban park: 1:7500 map
    Harbin Park, Fairfield, OH
    Park entrance on Hunter Rd on west side of US 127, 2 miles north of I-275, exit #36.

Farsta?
    There will not be a farsta format event this year.
    We are sorry to disappoint those who look forward to it, and we plan to bring back the farsta in the future.

March 10
    Last day to enter without late fee.
March 28
    Check-in open from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm at Woodland Trails
    Sprint starts from 2 pm to 3:30 pm.
    2.5 hour limit, courses close at 6:00 pm.
    Evening check-in, 6 - 8 pm, hand Residence, 511 East Chestnut St, Oxford, OH
    Knights of Columbus Fish Fry dinner, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm, for details, see "Dinner" below.
March 29
    Packet pick-up at Hueston Woods open 8:30 am to Noon.
    Classic Course Starts 10 am - Noon. ***Allow 30 minutes for bus to start.***
    3 hour limit, courses close at 3:00 pm.
    Dinner to benefit US Junior Team, 6:30 pm, for details, see "Dinner" below.
March 30
    Short Course Starts 9 am - 11 am.
    2.5 hour limit, courses close at 1:30 pm.
    Awards 1:30 pm.

Courses and Classes
    Competitive
    All standard USOF competitive courses and classes will be offered.
        All competitive entrants should pre-register.
    Recreational
    Recreational Courses will be offered on white, yellow and orange each day for $5.
        Recreational entrants should register on site on the day of the event.

Midwest Regional Championship
    Eligibility:  USOF member who is primary member of a Midwest Regional Club or
        at-large USOF member who resides in the Midwest Region.
    Midwest Clubs: COO, ICO, MVOC, NEOOC, OCIN, OLOU, ROKS, SMOC.
    Midwest States:  IN, KY, MI, OH, WV.

Awards
    Separate awards will be given for each day of competition.
    Awards to top 3 places in “age classes” and 1st place in “course classes”.
    1st place Midwest Champion in “age classes” on Saturday and Sunday.

Punching
    The Sport-Ident electronic punching system will be used for all courses.
    Be sure to put your SI number on the registration form.
    Rental cards are available.

Maps
    Maps will be 1:10,000, 5 m. contour,
        except Hueston Woods (Saturday) red and blue courses will use a 1:15,000 map.
    Harbin Park (Sunday) is a new map. Special scale of 1:7500 will be used.

Preview Maps
    Preview maps are available for $4 each.
            Woodland Trails (WT) (1:10,000, Friday, relevant for all courses)
            Hueston Woods East (HWE) (1:15,000, 1995, Saturday, relevant for all courses)
            Hueston Woods South (HWS) (1:10,000, 2000, Saturday, most relevant for red and blue courses)

Shirts
    T-shirts designed by OCIN artist extraordinaire, Greg Sack.
    Shirt will feature a special “Wright Pig” tribute to the 100th anniversary of the first flight
        of Dayton brothers Wilbur and Orville Wright.

Dinner
    A Friday evening all-you-can-eat Fish Fry is available, 5 pm - 8 pm, pay-at-the-door.
        It includes a variety of seafood and vegetarian entrees, bread, salad, vegetable and desserts.
        Buffet (including tax) $8.39 adults, $3.17 kids 5-10, Menu and cash bar also available.
        Knights of Columbus hall on OH 128 about 1 mile south of OH 129 in Hamilton, Ohio.
        Low blue-trimmed building between OH 128 and Great Miami River, just south of Eagles Lodge.
    Saturday dinner proceeds will benefit U.S. Junior Team, 6:30 pm, St. Mary Parish Center, Oxford, OH
        Main entree will be chicken, vegetarian alternatives will be available.
        East side of Poplar St, 1/2 block south of High (next to Police Station).

Lodging
    Camping is available at Hueston Woods.   Many motels are nearby.

Child Sitting
    Please let us know early if you will need this service.
    Child sitting will NOT be offered if we have no requests by March 17!
    $3 per hour for first child, $2 for each additional child from same family.

    Make checks payable in US$ to: OCIN.
    Entrants from outside the USA may e-mail entry info to PigReg@woh.rr.com and pay US$ on arrival at event.
            However, if you have previously entered a Pig by e-mail or phone and then “no-showed”,
            your registration will not be accepted without payment.

    If you are not entering all 3 days, please clearly specify which days you are entering.
    Please clearly print all information, especially your e-mail address.
