    TROL #9. Courses: white 1.7 km; yellow 2.6 km; orange 3.5 km; brown 2.8 km; green 4.4 km; red 6.1 km. Event Directors: Ben Hart and Stephanie Ross. Start times 11 am - 1 pm. Fees: $7 members, $10 non-members; $2 discount if you have your own SI card. Free for TROL season pass holders.
    Locator Map Directions: From I-275 exit 11, take KY 8 south for 1 mile, then continue straight on KY 20 for 4.3 miles. Turn left to stay on KY 20 and continue 6.6 miles. Turn left on KY 18 for less than 1 mile to park entrance on the right. From I-75, exit 181, go west on Kentucky route 18 for 11 miles to park entranmce on left. GPS users put in 5655 Burlington Pike, Burlington, KY 41005; coordinates 38.998410, -84.814183.

Feb 14, 2016     Woodland Trails BSA Camp, Camden, Ohio
    TROL #10. Miami Valley Orienteering Club (MVOC) annual "Valentine Hunt". See MVOC website for details.
    Locator Map Directions: Enter the camp on the north side of Gasper-Sommers Rd. From Camden, Ohio, go 2.1 miles north on US 127, then turn left on Gasper-Somers to camp entrance on the right. From Eaton, Ohio, take US 127 south 6.2 miles and turn right on Gasper-Somers Rd to camp entrance on the right. Once in the camp, follow orienteering signs up to a mile into the camp. Registration will be at the main dining hall. The dining hall is number 35 on the scout camp's map

    Rentschler Forest, Walsh Shelter. At least 4 courses will be offered. Beginner course will feature Easter Egg Orienteering. Children will use a map to find a series of checkpoints, collecting a colored plastic egg at each point and exchange them for candy or a toy at the finish. Start times from Noon until 2 pm. Event Director: Mike Minium
    Kid's Egg Course is $3 per child. Other courses: Fee is $7 for OCIN members, $10 for non members. $2 discount if you have your own SI timing card. Free for 2015-16 TROL season pass holders. MetroParks of Butler County Motor Vehicle permit is required, available at site. $5 daily, $10 annual, free for Butler County residents.
    Locator Map From I-75, take exit 29, and take OH 129 west toward Hamilton, about 7 miles. Exit at Ohio Bypass 4, and turn right (north) on Bypass 4. Go 1.5 miles to Route 4. Continue straight across Route 4 and follow signs into Rentschler.

    The 20th edition of OCIN's annual Flying Pig.
    Friday afternoon - Sprint race in Hamilton, Ohio (Miami University - Hamilton Campus). Saturday and Sunday will be classic distance races at Miami-Whitewater Forest, Harrison, Ohio.

    The Georgia Advanced Orieneetring Training is a week long summer camp for teen orienteers who are successfully competing at yellow course level or above.
    Preregistration required, cost is $300

June 16-19, 2016   United World Games (youth -18), Klagenfurt, Austria
    United World Games. Orienteering includes 2 middle distance races and a sprint relay. Eligibilty: youth 18 or under (born 2002 or later).
   

June 29 - July 4, 2016    Laramie Daze, Wyoming
    6 days of orienteering in the high country of Medicine Bow National Forest. June 29 - July 1 will feature 3 mass-start races; July 2-4 will have 3 national ranking days.
