    Registration opens at 9, Starts 10 am - 11:30 am. Courses: white 1.3 km; yellow 2.5 km; short advanced 3.2 km; long advanced 7.2 km.     Starts from 11 am to 1 pm; Cedar Ridge Picnic Area. Courses white, yellow, orange, green. Sponsored by Central Ohio Orienteers (COO). COO website
    Directions: From I-70 west of Columbus, take exit 85 and go south on Plain City-Jorgesville Rd. After avbout 2 miles, at traffic light, turn left (east) on US 40. Turtn right (south) on Darby Creek Rd (ignore detour sign, the construction is after the park entrance). Go about 3 miles and turn right at park entrance to Cedar Ridge Area.

    A full range of courses - Special competition for JROTC students, but there will be courses open to all ages and abilities. East Fork State Park, South side, Amelia, Ohio. Event Director: Mike Minium

    Locator Map Directions: From I-275, take exit 65, and take Ohio 125 east for about 10 miles, passing thru Amelia (watch for 25 mph speed trap). Turn left on Bantam Rd and follow signs toward the beach. Do not take OH 32 or you will be on the wrong side of a very large lake!

Tuesday, Oct 25, 2016     "Trail of Treats", Rentschler Forest, Hamilton, Ohio
    "Trail of Treats will be a very easy white level course. Kids can collect tokens at each control point, which can be exchanged for a bag of candy at the finish. Fee is $3 per child. Very young children should be accompanied by a parent or older sibling.
    There will also be additional courses available for older children and adults at regular OCIN rates: $7 for members, $10 for non-members; $2 discount if you own your own SI timing card, free for 2016-17 TROL Season pass holders.
    Start times will be 5 pm to 6:30 pm. You may start any time between 5 and 6:30. Courses will close at 7:30. Vehicles entering the park must have a Butler County MetroParks vehicle permit. Permits will be available on site. These are free to Butler County residents with identification. Non-resident permits are $5 daily or $10 annual.

October 29-30, 2016     OCIN Road Trip, Eno River, North carolina
    Dave Waller will be setting weekend courses on a NEW MAP at Eno River State Park for the Backwoods Orienteering Klub (BOK). OCIN membeers are invited tyo join in the fun in what has been described as an unusually open and runnable forest. Saturday afternoon sprint, Saturday Night-O (overnight camping available at the site), Sunday classic meet.
