    Courses: white thru red. Start times: 10 am - 2 pm. Because this is Super Bowl Sunday, we will have starts open by 10 am. Director Matthew Robbins
    Directions: Start will be at Sharon Centre. From I-275, exit 46, go south on US 42 for about 1 mile (crossing Kemper Rd) and turn left into the park. Sharon Woods locator map.
    Hamilton County Parks require a motor vehicle permit ($3 daily or $10 annual) which may be purchased when you enter the park.
    Special Note: Park Activity Program: "Winter Feeder Birds" program by Lauren Seppelt will be inside Sharon Centre at 1 pm. It is a free program at which the Naturalist will discuss landscaping for birds, feeders, seed, bird ID, and solving common bird feeder problems. It will last about 1 hour. Folks can come for just part of it if they wish. Sharon Centre also has an indoor playground for younger kids.

April 7, 2012    OCIN Easter 2012, Governor Bebb, Okeana, OH
    Public is welcome at ALL OCIN events. Courses will include our annual "Easter Egg Orienteering" for the kids. Kids get a map which shows them where to find baskets of plastic eggs. When they finish, the eggs are exchanged for toy or candy. See Easter Egg Orienteering 2012 information for more details. Start the course any time between 10 am and Noon. Courses: range from white (beginner) to red (advanced), details to be announced.
    Metroparks of Butler County requires a motor vehicle permit ($5 daily, $10 annual) to enter their parks. This may be purchased at the event. Car permits are not included in TROL season pass fees. Butler County residents get a free permit, but must show ID to prove residency.

    Introduction to Orienteering Class (9 am - Noon) including on-trail courses (beginner and intermediate/advanced). Off trail travel will not be permitted but we'll still plan a course to provide route choice to intermediate and advanced orienteers.
    A joint program with Cincinnati Nature Center. $5 for OCIN and CNC members, $13 for those who are not members of either organization. Pre-registration through CNC will be required. details soon.

    TROL Training Camp with classroom instruction, outdoor activities and practice event. Plan is for morning to be geared towards beginners, with afternoon geared toward intermediate/advanced skills and activities. Lunch (sandwiches) and dinner (pizza) are included.
    Pre-registration will be required.
    We recommend bringing at least 2 pairs of shoes (an indoor classroom pair and an outdoor orienteering pair), several changes of socks, rain gear, and at least one full change of clothes and a towel.
