Beginners are always welcome and basic instruction is offered at no charge.
OCIN Events are held rain, shine or snow.     In the event of severe storm or snow emergency, check this site on the morning of event.

June 1, 2013     Green Twp Bicentennial Park, Cincinnati, Ohio
    Starts 9 am - 10 am. Do one or both courses for a single fee. $7 for members, $10 for non-members. $2 discount if you have your own SI card or a TROL season member. Director: Mike Minium
    Courses: Two courses: 2.0 and 2.6 km. These will be forest "sprint" courses, staying to more open portions of the forest. Times will count in FAST-O Season rankings. Difficulty level is yellow to orange. This will be a relatively informal event - just show up, pay, take a map and go have fun! Newcomers welcome!
    Directions: Take I-74 to exit #14 and go south on North Bend Rd for about 1 mile. After traffic light at Reemelin, take next left on Diehl Rd. At stop sign, turn right (still on Diehl), then curve sharply left. After about 1 mile on Diehl, turn right into Green Township Bicentennial Park. Take park road straight ahead to last parking area. Safety note: Note that the stop sign at the bend on Diehl is a "Stop EXCEPT when turning right". If you are signalling your right turn and come to a full stop, you might get rear-ended or honked at.

    A 2-hr Score-0. Mass start for the Score-O (30 electronic controls – all at new locations) at 10:00 am (EDT). Fees: Score-O costs $7 for club members and juniors, and $9 for non-members. Groups of 3 or more should email the meet director before 4 June 2013 so he can get an accurate map count. $2 discount if you use your own finger stick. Eventt Director is Ken Kling.

    Sid Richardson Scout Ranch (SR2) near Bridgeport, TX. Selective admission by pre-registration only. Application required by April 30.

    Camp fee $150. Discount for TROL members in middle school or high school divisions who earned 4000 or more TROL points or raced in four or more TROL meets this season.

    Taylorsville Lake State Park. National Orienteering Day – East. Classic format: Yellow, Orange , Brown, Green and Red. We are hoping to use a new area North of the shelter this year for the meet. 10:00 – 12:00 EDT starts (Using Louisville Time for this event). Ribbons for top high school finishers.
