Dec 31, 2014 - Jan 1, 2015     New Year's Orienteering, Camp Timberhill, Hamilton, Ohio
    New Year's Eve Night Orienteering, then regular courses on New Year's Day. New Years Eve Start times between 7 pm and midnight (traditional mass start at midnight, but run early if you like). New Year's Day Start times 11 am to 1 pm. Event Director: Mike Minium
    Event Fees: Night Course: $7 OCIN members, $10 for others, $5 for youth with TROL season pass; New Year's Day Course: $7 OCIN members, $10 for others, $5 for youth with TROL season pass. $2 discount if you have your own SI timing card.
    Overnight bunk space is available by advance reservation $10 adults, $5 youth. Dormitory is heated, but there will NOT be indoor restrooms available this year. There will be portable toilets outside. Bring your own bedding (sleeping bag suggested) and pillow. Contact Mike Minium to reserve space.
    Locator Map Directions: From I-75, take Ohio 129 west toward Hamilton, and exit at Ohio Bypass 4 North. Where Bypass 4 joins 4, turn right on 4 for about 1 mile. Watch for narrow gravel drive on left with Metroparks "Timberhill" sign, immediately before Innovative Labeling Solutions.
    Butler County Metroparks Motor Vehicle Permit required and will be available for purchase at event. $5 daily, $10 annual, free to Butler County residents with proof of residency.

    2 days of Orienteering USA Class "A" courses, with 2-day total-time awards.
    Optional "Extreme-O" on Monday, modeled on NATO military training competition, this requires navigating using several different types of maps, and aerial photos, solving puzzles, and physical challenges such as crossing a rope bridge or crawling through a culvert. Long and short versions, it is recommended that the Extreme-O be done in teams.
