Sunny skies and a high temperature near 50 F (10 C) made a perfect late November day for orienteering.  Thanks to Robert Rice and Matthew Robbins for helping collect the controls.  Thanks also to those others who briefly assisted with registration, instruction and timing.

Long Score Course (27 controls)

    Getting more than 22 controls required orienteers to cross the raging waters of Indian Creek.  Everyone got at least knee deep in the frigid, turbulent waters, and many reported hip-deep or waist-deep adventures.

    Some of these orienteers got 22 controls, although they only needed 21.  In a morning-of-event decision, I declared #18 unnecessary, because reaching it required wading through an ankle-deep to knee-deep tributary of Indian Creek.  Katie and David Williams managed to keep their feet dry by shimmying across a fallen log.
