Thanks to all volunteers who helped with this event, especially Matt Bond, Laurie Sydzyik, Joe, Roman, Mike Minium, and Shane Dawalt

Course note: There were no brown or red courses. For WARS standings, runners on the orange course will receive ranking points on brown. Runners on purple course will receive ranking points on red.

The day started out calm and cloudy, but by the time orienteers were starting on their courses, the snow had begun. Temperatures gradually crept up through the 20’s barely reaching the freezing mark by late afternoon, as around 2 inches of fluffy white stuff accumulated. The road into camp became slick, and at least one orienteer turned around rather than attempting the road into camp. Special thanks to Randy Porter and his pickup truck, as they pulled out at least one stuck vehicle. Special thanks also to Camp Ranger John Newby, who turned on the generator to give us power, and did his best to keep the paved part of the road plowed.
