Partly cloudy skies and temperatures warming to around freezing welcomed orienteers to Miami University's Western Woods.  Trails were extremely icy and slippery.  Elsewhere, there was 1 to 3 inches of crusty snow cover.  Thanks to Vince Hand for helping with control pickup.  Welcome new members Derek Hart family.  Turnout was light, probably due to a combination of the icy conditions and the short advance notice for this event.

    Orienteers from ROKS (Badin HS) ran the course on Saturday, February 7, in conditions of approx. 25 degrees F (-4 C) with light snow showers and flurries.
