Public is welcome at all events, unless specifically noted in the announcement. Beginners are always welcome and basic instruction is offered at no charge. OCIN Events are held rain, shine, or snow. In the event of severe storm or snow emergency, check this site on the morning of event.

    OCIN New Year's meets: Join us for this annual tradition! Details to be announced.
    New Year's Eve Night Score Orienteering at Camp Timberhill, Hamilton, OH; starts are open from 7 pm until 10 pm. Score style course, go in any order, but return within the time limit or lose points. New Year's snacks, drinks, and games. NO alcohol.
    Limited overnight lodging is available in co-ed dormitory (privacy is limited), bunk beds, bring own bedding. Please contact Event Director Mike Minium if you are interested in staying overnight at the camp.
    Start the New Year off right. Join us for New Year's Day Orienteering - start times 11 am to 1 pm. White thru red courses. Event Fees: $10 members, $15 non-members, $2 discount if you have your own SportIdent card. Although this is not a TROL/WARS event, it is free for 2018-19 TROL Season pass holders.
    MetroParks of Butler County Motor Vehicle Permit is required and will be available on site. Butler County residents may get a 2019-2020 permit free with proof of residency. Non-residents may buy a 2019 annual for $10 or a daily for $5. We use MetroParks of Butler County for several events each year.
    Locator Map 3976 Hamilton-Middletown Rd., Hamilton, OH 45011. The turn off Ohio 4 (Hamilton-Middletown Rd) is a narrow driveway, immediately next to the entrance to Innovative Labeling Solutions. This is NOT the Reigart Rd entrance, there is no connection inside the park.

Jan 5 and 6, 2019     Adventure Racing Clinic and 4 hour mini-Rogaine, General Butler State Park, Kentucky
    Events organized by 361 Adventures. Pre-registration is required.
    Saturday: Adventure Racing Clinic, all day, various 45 minute sessions on different aspects of Adventure Racing including night navigation, orienteering, bike maintenance, ultra-running, bike packing, paddling, and more.     Clinic fee is $20, Clinic Information: 361 Adventures Clinic Website
    Sunday: 4 hour FRIGID mini-rogaine (score style course, go in any order, 4 hours to find as many points as you can.     annual national event. Friday middle distance courses at McIntosh Reserve. Classic courses Saturday and Sunday at Chatahoochie Bend State Park. Extreme-O course on Monday offers unique navigational and physical challenges

    The Raccoongaine and Little Raccoongaine are long-duration score style events (commonly known as rogaines). 3 hour course on Saturday, 6 hour course on Sunday. Both solos and teams are permitted. event website
